To my surprise and excitement I learned that the log cabin from The Cabin in the Woods movie will be completely recreated by Universal Studios in Orlando for their Halloween Horror Nights 2013. As you may know Cabin in the Woods was the horror film written by Joss Whedon and directed by Drew Goddard. Needless to say, the movie is a must see if you haven't seen it already.
Talking to Zap2it Universal Studios Michael Aiello gave further details about the experience:
We are building the cabin completely. You're going to walk through a forest to get there. You're going into the cabin. You're going to go into the cube cells. We're literally taking everything we can in the film and giving you a kind of best-of montage of the film with this kind of linking story. You're going to be in the control room when merman attacks.
For all interested parties, Halloween Horror Nights will run from Sept 20 to Nov. 2 in Orlando, FL.
